The service, at least when I've witnessed it, has been very, very good. I hadn't thought about the range of people that they have employed. That's an interesting observation. I'm going to pay closer attention on my next visit.Michael Robertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01658740999927721412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38902647.post-41206626721507900102010-01-04T14:55:24.090-05:002010-01-04T14:55:24.090-05:00I, as well, find the idea of the "Unfocus Gro...I, as well, find the idea of the "Unfocus Group" fascinating. Reading your post and the idea behind the concept, I instantly thought of Apple retail stores.

This isn't necessarily because I am a huge fan of the company and avid user (though I'm sure it had some effect), but rather because simply walking into one of the technology giant's retail venues speaks for itself.

If you've visited an Apple Store over the years, you might have noticed that the Store often employees anything from a 18 year-old "techie" to a 65 year-old friendly man or woman. Furthermore, the Store's employs people who might be described as one of the following: "hipsters", "geeks", "goths", and "stylish".

It would seem as though Apple is actively following the effective approach to selling in that it has stores "stocked" with "know-it-alls" as well as "average Joes", so as to relate to any potential customer.

Looking at Apple's retail financial results from the past 6-8 quarters as well as their continued retail expansion throughout "the States" and abroad, one might say they've mastered retail. Would you agree?Luke Bornheimerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07640057473793997639noreply@blogger.com
