They could have tested the technology, examined the unintended effects, and studied consumer behavior. It need not have taken a long period of time, but it would have been a great way to insure a successul and smooth launch more broadly across the United States.Michael Robertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01658740999927721412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38902647.post-26795720828536979122009-08-12T12:42:41.916-04:002009-08-12T12:42:41.916-04:00Hi Michael -- Do you have any ideas on how that ad...Hi Michael -- Do you have any ideas on how that administration could have better vetted this initiative to incorporate feedback before implementing the program? You are right that this is a critical element of effective organizations, though I would not ignore the other side of the equation - which is prevention.Michael Robertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01658740999927721412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38902647.post-66447004792685890452009-08-08T10:02:06.058-04:002009-08-08T10:02:06.058-04:00We can always try to minimize unintended consequen...We can always try to minimize unintended consequences.. however, no matter how hard we try, how passionate we're, there's always a loophole. Nothing is watertight in this world. Nothing can be sure except death and taxes.

I'd rather evaluate how good an organization or a government is in risk mitigation and intervention. How good are they in responding to unanticipated situations that would have grave consequences?mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11747237993218179988noreply@blogger.com
