Holman Jenkins offers an
interesting theory on the competition between Google and Microsoft in today's Wall Street Journal. While many journalists describe this as a heated battle, Jenkins provides a contrasting view. It reminds me of how the rivalry of Coke vs. Pepsi was often termed the "cola war" over the years, yet in fact, it resembled the sort of war described by Jenkins, in which both firms prospered for decades.
