The Asch Experiments

I discovered that YouTube features a good video on the famous Solomon Asch experiments regarding the pressures to conform in groups. It's worth watching to remind us that the pressure to conform can cause us to make very poor decisions at times.

I am the Trustee Professor of Management at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. I joined the faculty after serving for six years on the faculty at Harvard Business School. My research, teaching, and consulting focuses on leadership, with a particular emphasis on decision-making and teams.
